I was watching singer Chris Isaak’s ” Baja Sessions” television special when I zeroed in on a small leather-covered portable radio. I thought that’s the coolest looking little radio. For some reason it struck me. Soon after I attended my first swap meet, I was hooked on antique radios. It took me a couple of years to find that antique radio, actually two of the same model. I ended up giving one to Chris, and he autographed the other for me as shown on this page. It’s like a club member once told me, “I never met a radio I didn’t like”. I do prefer the 30′s and 40′s Wood, Catalin, Plaskon, and Urea radios, but most types of radios can be found on my website.
